One of the first things you’ll see when approaching Langkawi by ferry is the 12-metre sculpture of a majestic eagle at Dataran Lang, which serves as a mascot of the island. Located at the southeast corner of Langkawi, about a 5-minute drive from Bayview Hotel Langkawi, Dataran Lang juts into Kuah Bay, offering spectacular views. Visitors can take holiday snaps overlooking the water, or by the lovely miniature fountains and quaint bridges.
